It is so windy outside that we have shut ourselves indoors. (Actually, we have been indoors since it started to get toooo hot to be in the garden.) But today, the weatherman should have announced a special weather warning targeted to people who wear wigs and toupees .... something like 'and a warning to people with hair pieces to secure or hold on tightly as galeforce winds of up to 140kph can cause loss to personal property' .... or similar. The wind is very frightening and we have closed all the windows and doors. And now its raining, a phenomena not seen since November-ish 2008.
So now is a good time to download photos from the camera and upload to blog so I can show you whats been happening in the garden.
The side gate was re-hung as the hinges had rusted and broke away from the bricks, and bit of new paint, a change of colour. Thank you to Brother Geoff. More photos of my garden in next blog.
