My Little Heartbeat

Tobes has had a haircut and although he looks extremely neat and tidy again, a highly handsome little lad he is, he also looks very frail. Oh, and he likes sleeping in my bed when I'm at work. He even scratches the doona back to make himself comfortable!

My little Heartbeat has had a hoppy leg and the last bottle of anti-inflammatory drops has not helped. So we booked him in for an x-ray last Friday and the vet found that he had torn a ligament in his knee.
I bet it was that last helter-skelter run to the back fence to shit-stir the neighbour's huntin' dogs that did it! So he had a knee recon. op and I picked him up the next morning. Toby still has a hoppy leg which is now much more hoppy but will now definitely get better. Here he is resting in a foam child's car booster seat. You can just see his hoppy leg with 10 stitches. Fiona-at-school has kindly given me her porta-cot so that Toby can rest in there when no one's at home. So, he is coping quite well, he is a braaaaaave little soldier; it certainly has taken the bark out of him because he hasn't spoken yet!
